We proudly highlight the participation of Trinidad, an 8th-grade student who represented Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén in the national final of the Creative Writing competition organized by the English-Speaking Union (ESU) and held at Colegio La Maisonnette.

During the event, finalists from schools across the country took part in writing workshops, exchanged ideas, and tackled the challenge of drafting an original short story in English. The activity also featured the participation of Richard Collingwood Selby—an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE)—and concluded with the presentation of diplomas and awards by category.

Reaching the final of a national competition is a significant recognition of Trinidad’s talent, dedication, and commitment. Beyond the outcome, we value her ability to express her creativity and imagination in a second language while taking on this challenge alongside young writers from across Chile.
