Pilar Bisso
Deputy Director of Student Development and Primary School Safeguarding Lead
Early Years educator with a degree in Education and a postgraduate diploma in Curriculum and Assessment from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has been part of the school community for 25 years, 18 of which were spent teaching and serving as form tutor for her classes. Later, between 2018 and 2019, she worked as Curriculum Coordinator for Mathematics and Music in the Early Years division across the four Pedro de Valdivia schools. Since 2020, Andrea has served as Deputy Director of Student Development and Early Years Safeguarding Lead.
State-qualified Spanish teacher from the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences, with extensive classroom teaching experience across primary education, mainstream secondary education, adult education, pre-university education and higher education institutions. Gloria has been a member of leadership teams in roles including Headteacher, Deputy Head, Counsellor, Coordinator and Head of Department. She has taught a range of courses both in her specialist subject and in education, transversal development and pedagogy. She has also supervised teaching placements for trainee teachers, both in subject specialism and guidance, delivered workshops in the field of education and worked as a pedagogical adviser in guidance and educational leadership. In addition, she has served as an adviser and trainer on a curriculum management platform.
Music teacher and graduate in Musical Arts from the Metropolitan University of Educational Sciences, with a Master’s degree in Education, Human Relations and Family Studies, postgraduate qualifications in Psychopedagogy and Adolescent Psychology, and a diploma in Universal Design for Learning. Pilar has more than 15 years of experience at the school, 10 of them in the role of Deputy Director of Student Development.

Visitor entry protocol
Registration and identity verification for all external visitors before they enter the school.
Identification badges for staff and external providers
All staff and external providers are required to wear visible identification badges so that roles and access permissions can be clearly recognised.
Pedestrian parent passes
Personal identification passes for parents entering on foot, helping to support access control and security.
Vehicle permits
Permits for staff and authorised vehicles to enable secure and efficient access.
Security team
Trained security personnel responsible for managing access, carrying out patrols and responding to any incidents.
Team of 16 supervisors across different areas of the school
A distributed supervision team that helps maintain order, ensure compliance with school procedures and provide immediate support to students.
CCTV system
Continuous monitoring of key areas across the school to strengthen prevention and support a rapid response to incidents.
