Our bilingual programme in Spanish and English enables students to develop confidence and fluency in both languages. Integrated across the curriculum, it strengthens academic language skills while deepening cultural understanding.
Early Years
In Early Years, children are immersed in a bilingual environment from the very start, developing their communication skills naturally and progressively. English is woven into the daily routine through meaningful experiences, guided play and active learning approaches.
The programme combines the Chilean National Curriculum with a strong focus on English, helping children build confidence, develop oral expression and establish firm foundations for future learning in both languages.
Primary School
During Primary School, students strengthen their bilingualism through a high number of subjects taught in English. The focus is on developing academic communication, reading comprehension and written expression, while building independence and critical thinking.
The school is recognised as a Cambridge Preparation Centre in partnership with English UC, supporting students as they prepare for official qualifications. In addition, active participation in public speaking activities with ESU Chile helps students develop confidence, oral expression and presence in both academic and public settings.
Senior School
In Senior School, the bilingual programme reaches its highest level of academic development. Students deepen their use of English for academic and future professional contexts, preparing for Cambridge qualifications and strengthening their international outlook.
From Year 9 to 12, students receive continuous academic support and personalised guidance for the PAES and their university pathway. More than 70% of graduates achieve official Cambridge English certification, expanding their opportunities in Chile and abroad, while developing leadership, critical thinking and a well-rounded foundation for the future.
Through a rich mix of language experiences, we help students build the skills and resilience they need to thrive.
We believe in a personalised approach to language learning. Every new student completes an initial language assessment, together with a questionnaire exploring their individual language profile.
Our aim is for students to achieve at least a B2 level of English, helping to prepare them for the demands of higher education.
Through ISP’s International Learning Opportunities for Students (ILOS), our learners take part in cultural exchanges, debates and creative film projects. These enriching experiences give them meaningful opportunities to practise their language skills and grow in confidence.
We support parents in helping their child’s language development through guides, webinars and practical language tips to reinforce learning at home. We also provide useful tools to encourage multilingual development.
As an alumna, I experienced the school from the inside and have very fond memories of my time there. Because of this positive experience, we decided to enrol our daughter here as well. The school stands out for its strong academic standards and for having teachers with extensive experience.
