Inauguration
The Colegio Pedro de Valdivia in Peñalolén is inaugurated as the fourth school in the Pedro de Valdivia network, opening with an enrolment of 750 students.
First graduation
Enrolment doubles and the school celebrates its first graduating cohort.

COVID pandemic
During the pandemic, we rapidly restructure our educational model to ensure continuity in learning through online classes and later a hybrid approach, marking a turning point in the use of technology.
Strengthening bilingualism
The PEI highlights the integration of English as a second language from Playgroup to Year 5, followed by an intensive programme in the higher year groups, strengthening the CPV Peñalolén’s bilingual education.
Renewed IEP
The school publishes its renewed Institutional Educational Project (IEP), reinforcing its humanistic mission, its commitment to integral development, and its alignment with the regional standards of ISP South America.

The pandemic brings one of the greatest challenges in our recent history, requiring a rapid and far-reaching restructuring of our educational model. To ensure continuity in learning, we introduce online classes that maintain curriculum delivery and preserve the connection between teachers and students during a period of great uncertainty.
Over time, we adopt a hybrid model that combines in-person and virtual learning, responding to the evolving needs of our community. This process not only ensures academic continuity, but also drives a significant transformation in the use of technology, reshaping teaching methods, school management and the way students learn.
We published our renewed IEP, marking an important milestone in the development and future direction of our institutional educational project. Within this new framework, we strengthen our humanistic mission, placing at the centre the development of young people of integrity, with a strong ethical sense, critical thinking and a deep commitment to the world around them.
At the same time, we reinforce our focus on academic excellence and strong values, promoting high standards of learning alongside the principles that guide our students both inside and outside the classroom.
