PV Peñalolén student wins first place in video game development at a prestigious summer school at the University of Central Florida. With great excitement and pride, we are delighted to share news that fills our hearts with joy: Ignacio, a student at our Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén, has been awarded first place in Python video game development during his participation in the summer school at the University of Central Florida in the United States. This international experience not only enabled Ignacio to further develop his programming talent, but also gave him the opportunity to take part in a learning experience of the highest standard, where he represented our country and CPV Peñalolén with excellence. His parents, Alfonso and Jessica, wanted to share a message with us that we deeply value: “We wanted to thank you for the support given to our son Ignacio, which enabled him to take part in the summer school at the University of Central Florida. We would also like to tell you that he was awarded first place for developing the best video game in Python at the camp. We are very happy because the results he achieved far exceeded our expectations. This would not have been possible without the support you gave us. Thank you very much!” For our community, these words reaffirm what drives us: believing in the potential of every student and supporting them in each of their academic, personal and emotional challenges. We feel deeply proud of Ignacio, his family and the entire teaching team who, with commitment and vocation, create opportunities for our students to step into the world with confidence, creativity and a passion for learning. Congratulations, Ignacio! Your achievement is also an achievement for our whole community.
