With pride, excitement and a team that gave everything on the court, Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén was crowned champion of the 2025 Peñalolén District Inter-School Championship, in a double fixture that will remain a memorable moment in the sporting history of our school.On Friday 9 May, our selected players competed in both the semi-final and final of the tournament with admirable commitment. In an intense final, they faced Colegio Carlos Fernández Peña and turned around a challenging first half thanks to their character, tactical approach and team unity.It was Maite who opened the scoring after an excellent recovery, lifting the spirit of the team. Alongside her, the strong defensive work of Emilia, Francisca and Florencia proved essential in containing the opposition’s attacks, while Magdalena and Evolet led the midfield with vision and energy. Three further goals secured a decisive victory and a well-deserved championship title.Our warmest congratulations go to our 15 selected players, who represented the colours of CPV Peñalolén with passion and showed that when effort, teamwork and love for what you do come together, dreams can indeed be achieved.Thank you for representing us with such commitment and for keeping the title at home!You are a source of pride for the entire CPV community.
