Pillars for a Safer, More Respectful, and Committed CPV Peñalolén

At Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén, we firmly believe that learning flourishes when there is a safe, harmonious, and respectful environment. We are therefore proud to announce the official establishment of our School Coexistence Committee and School Safety Committee — an initiative born from a deep commitment to the holistic well-being of every member of our community.

This important milestone reinforces our mission to nurture well-rounded, responsible, and empathetic students, in a space that promotes not only academic development, but also emotional and social growth. Both committees will work in coordination to design and implement a School Coexistence and Safety Management Plan, which will include:

  • Preventive and educational activities to foster positive coexistence.
  • Awareness campaigns focused on respectful treatment, empathy, peaceful conflict resolution, and self-care.
  • Timely intervention strategies and support for situations that put the well-being of any community member at risk.
  • Clear and effective safety protocols to protect our students, teachers, and staff in their daily activities.

None of this would be possible without the active participation and commitment of everyone involved: students, families, teachers, assistants, management, and administrative staff. Safety and coexistence are built as a community, through everyday actions, and require a collective effort to become a reality.

How can you contribute, as a Valdivian family?

  • By taking part in the activities organized by the committees.
  • By promoting values such as respect, kindness, responsibility, and empathy at home.
  • By being a model of positive coexistence and collaboration in every setting.

Our goal is clear: to build together a CPV Peñalolén where every student feels protected, valued, and motivated to grow. A school where trust, care, and mutual respect provide the framework for learning, teaching, and living together. We are grateful for the commitment of all the families who contribute to this purpose every day. We will continue to share updates on the upcoming actions and activities to be developed by both committees.

Let us walk together towards a school that is increasingly safe, humane, and harmonious!
