Our educational community welcomed an outstanding exhibition featuring 29 works by the Catalan master Antoni Tàpies, offering students, families, and collaborators an opportunity to engage with art of an international caliber.Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén inaugurated a major exhibition dedicated to the renowned Catalan artist Antoni Tàpies, one of the most influential figures in 20th-century European art. The exhibition was organized by the Faculty of Arts under the coordination of María Cecilia Villagrán, managed by our school advisor Zarko Yacsich Bedat, and produced in collaboration with Dr. Vivian Lipari Zegarra, Director of FUNIBER’s Chile branch.The exhibition brings together 29 works spanning various stages of Tàpies' artistic career, with a particular focus on pieces created during the 1980s—a period marked by significant international accolades, including the Wolf Prize in the Arts and the Gold Medal of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
