With a campaign marked by effort, determination, and teamwork, our U18 girls’ volleyball team shone brightly in the Metropolitan School League, proudly representing Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén.After competing in seven intense regular-season matches, our team secured second place in the overall standings, allowing them to advance to the qualifying round-robin stage and earn a place in the tournament semi-finals.At this decisive stage, our players faced Colegio Santa Cruz de Chicureo in a challenging match that ended 2–0 in favour of their opponents. But the spirit of our Valdivian students did not stop there. With resilience and unwavering motivation, they prepared to compete for third place against Colegio Alonso de Ercilla.The match was electrifying: after narrowly losing the first set 25–22, our students fought back strongly to win the second set 25–18. In the third and decisive set, with unstoppable energy, they sealed the victory with a convincing 15–9 score, earning the title of the third-best team in the Metropolitan League.This achievement reflects not only their sporting talent, but also the commitment, perseverance, and teamwork that define our students.At CPV Peñalolén School, we extend our sincerest congratulations to every member of the team and their coaching staff for this outstanding performance.
