Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén students excel at the 2025 National Winter Championship With a mixture of excitement, pride and gratitude, we celebrate a major sporting milestone for our school community: Trinidad and María Jesús (Year 4 A), together with Catalina (Year 5 B), students at Colegio Pedro de Valdivia Peñalolén, were crowned National Champions at the 2025 National Winter Artistic Swimming Championship, held at the Kristel Kobrich pool at the National Stadium on 13, 14 and 15 June. Representing the Synchro Elite club, our students - all federated athletes - competed at a high level against seven clubs from different regions of the country, earning first place in the team event (gold medal) in a closely contested competition. But that was not all: Trinidad and María Jesús also secured first place in the trio category and second place in the duet category, demonstrating not only technical skill, but also exceptional teamwork and a winning mindset. This achievement would not have been possible without the constant support of their families, coaches and the school. At CPV Peñalolén, we are committed to supporting school sport, well-rounded education and personalised guidance for our students, especially those who combine their studies with demanding sporting routines. Through academic flexibility, teacher support and recognition of their achievements, we foster a community where high sporting performance is lived in harmony with personal and academic development. Words from the families: “We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Colegio Pedro de Valdivia for the constant support and the opportunities it provides our students so that they can develop their sporting talents and achieve their goals.” We warmly applaud this historic achievement and congratulate our talented swimmers for representing CPV Peñalolén with such pride. You inspire our entire community!
